You can ensure a year-round pack program and qualify for the National Summertime Pack Award by planning pack activities for the summer months. You'll
find that there will be plenty of boys and parents around to make your monthly
pack out,ings successful.
_ _Boys ~ eager for summertime fun and the adventure of Cub Scouting when
"they hav~ the most free time and greatest need for Cub Scouting.
A quick check of the parents of your pack will show that all boys and families
will not be on vacation or away at the same time.
Regardless of the number of boys and f amilies who participate, summertime
pack activities should be planned. If only 50 percent of the pack attends, you can
still have a worthwhile pack activity.
An attractive, full-color certificate wilI be awarded to your pack for planning
and carrying out an outdoor summer program that will make it possible for your
Cub Scouts to have a good summertime Cub Scouting experience. This calls for
holding pack aetivities in June, July, and August.

DEN
You can ensure a year-round pack program and qualify for the National Summertime
Pack Award by planning pack activities for the summer months. You'll
find that there will be plenty of boys and parents around to make your monthly
pack out,ings successful.
_ _Boys ~ eager for summertime fun and the adventure of Cub Scouting when
"they hav~ the most free time and greatest need for Cub Scouting.
A quick check of the parents of your pack will show that all boys and families
will not be on vacation or away at the same time.
Regardless of the number of boys and families who participate, summertime
pack activities should be planned.
