LmERS WHAT'S ON 'tOlJ\ MID?
Dear Brothers:
On a recent venture to the
Central Road of Camp Cur rier during
an eventful weekend, I realized
that there were no tents in the
area. I ask you to look at the
opening pages of your handbook .
"The Order is a thing of the outdoors
••• it needs the sun and
the rain • • • mountains and p lains
••• " With these words Dr .
Goodman, our founder , opens the
handbook. I'm sure that anyone
of us in this national Brotherhood
of honored campers could go somewhere
and find a large bui l ding
with a concrete floor to sleep on .
Our dining hall is such a large
building that has no sun or rain in
it, so let's get back to the basicP
of Scouting and the Order and
bring our tents to the next Ordeal
or Fellowship .
Yours in Cheerfulness,
Patrick Marshall
