KIA KIMA SONGS
I'm Happy When I'm Hiking

Tramp, tramp, tramp , tramp
Tramp, tramp, tramp, tramp.
I'm happy when I'm hiking.
Pack upon my back.
I'm happy when I'm hiking.
Off the beaten track.
Out in the open country,
That's the life for me.
With a true Scouting friend
To the journey's end
Ten, twenty, thirty, forty,
Fifty miles a day.
Tramp, tramp, tramp, tramp.
Tramp, tramp, tramp, tramp.

Trail The Eagle

Trail the Eagle, Trail the Eagle,
Climbing all the time.
First the Star and then the life
Will on your bosom shine,
Keep Climbing !
Blaze the trail, and we will follow
Hark, the Eagle's call;
On, Brother Scouts
Until we're Eagles all.
The Happy Wanderer

I love to go a wandering
Along the mountain track
And as I go, I love to sing
My knapsack on~my back.

Chorus:
Valdaree,Valderah, Valderee,
Valderahahahahahahah,
Valderee, Valderah,
My knapsack on my back.

I wave my hat to all I see
And they wave back to me
The blackbirds call so wild and free
From every greenwood tree.
Oh may I go a wandering
Until the day I die
And may I always laugh and sin~
Beaneath God's clear blue sky.

Scout Vesper Song
Softly falls the light of day,
While our campfire fades away;
Silently each-Scout should ask
Have I done my daily task ?
Have I kept my honor bright ?
Can I guiltless sleep tonight ?
Have I done and have I dared
Everyhting to be prepared.'\.

Taps
Day is done,
Gone the sun,
From the lake
From the hills,
From the sky,
All is well, safely rest,
God is nigh.

On My Honor
On my honor, I'll do my best
To do my duty to God, '
On my honor I'll do my best
To serve my country as I may
On my honor, I'll do my best
To do my good turn each day,
To keep my body strengthened
And keep my mind awakened.
To follow paths of righteousness,
On my honor, I'll do my best.

Scouting Spirit
I've got that Scouting Spirit
Up in my head
Up in my head
Up in my head
I've got that Scouting spirit
Up in my head
Up in my head to stay.
(repeat with deep in my heart, down in my teat,
and all over me)

Ira a Long Way to Kia Kima
It's a long way to Kia Kima,
It's a long way to go.
It's a long way to Kia Kima
Where the husky
Boy Scouts go.
Goodbye, dear old Memphis ;
Farewell, old Court Square.
It's along way to Kia Kima,
But my heart's right there.
