At the meeting of troop 5, five of the

A meeting of the executive committee was to have been held at 2 p.m.

and these are now being mounted on

The fact is. Gov. Cox Is a natural-bormanager, and that he has the
faculty of getting loyal and enthusiastic support from his subordinates, but
managing a business property is one
is anthing and managing a

the Ohio governor can't give all his time' to the

who can get maximum results

Friday night Is the night of reconstruction at every Boy Scout troop
Most of the
meeting in Memphis.
troops are having a meeting Friday,
which is the first held since the opening of Camp Kai Klma, three months
ago.
The meeting Is for the ptirpse
of reorganizing, and planning- - work
for
the coming season.
O. K. C. Knapp, English scoutmaster
who is in Memphis to study local lumber methods, will attend the meeting of
troop 31, and will demonstrate the English method of holding a meeting as
well as show the Scouts some of tho
games used by the English Boy Scouts.
At the meeting of troop 5, five of the
Scouts who were active In 1915, charter members of the troop, will be present.
A meeting of the executive committee was to have been held at 2 p.m.
Friday for the purpose of electing a
temporary president to succeed A. L.
Parker, who has resigned. This temporary president will hold office until
a nominating committee can be appointed and do its work, which Is estimated as being at least a month.
With the closing of camp, and the
departing of the Scouts there, the large
dining hall was donated to the natives
of Hardy for one night In order that
they might hold their annual dance.
R. D. Crow, local Scout executive, who
remained to rlose the hall after the
dance, said that it was the biggest
event of the year, people coming from
He
as far as 40 miles to participate.
said tnat many new steps were invented that night, one of the most popular being called "A post dotit twist."
The Indian totem pole, which was
the delight of the Scouts all summer,
was taken down and stored away for
the winter. Executive Crow brings a
large collection of both Indian arrowheads and hutterflys back with him,
and these are now being mounted on
exhibit boards. He states that some
of the butterflys are rare.

the man who engineered the nomination
