https://kiakimamuseum.org/files/original/3a5e455e420d9fb21a75e7365b3c29af.pdf af28ca7153fc80a23a11eb8b515169cf PDF Text Text Attendance:   Lodge  Executive  Committee   Minutes   6  October  2013     Andrew  Schrack   Logan  McCulley   Jim  Charbonet   Cole  Ettingoff   Will  Borah   Robert  Fudge   Ben  McClain   Edward  DeWane   Chuck  Martin   Caleb  McCulley   Jacob  McCulley   Jeremy  Palazolo   Chris  Nelson   Hunter  Ferris   Richard  Fisher   Adam  Crawford   John  Cozart   John  Casper   Jay  Collins   Fred  Doerner   Mellisa  Burnett   Chuck  Martin   Jeannie  Casper   Chris  Johnson Adam  Carr   John  Johnson     Meeting  was  called  to  order  by  Lodge  Chief,  Andrew  Schrack  with  all  repeating  the   Obligation  of  the  Order  of  the  Arrow.     Supreme  Chief  of  the  Fire,  Richard  Fisher,  spoke  to  the  LEC.  He  emphasized  that   he  was  not  a  guest  of  the  Lodge  but  a  member.  He  commended  the  Officers  of  the   Lodge  for  their  work  that  weekend  but  emphasized  the  need  for  more  Arrowmen  to   attend  the  events  of  the  Lodge.  He  emphasized  the  importance  of  Arrowmen  setting   the  example  for  their  fellow  Scouts  through  their  words,  deeds,  and  uniforms.  He   reminded  all  Arrowmen  that  the  OA  sash  is  not  worn  except  with  the  Class  A   uniform.  The  ultimate  responsibility  of  the  Lodge  is  to  put  on  an  “ooh  wee  good  time   for  our  Scouts.”     Minutes  from  8  September  2013  were  approved.     Officers  of  the  Lodge  met  with  their  advisors  for  several  minutes  before  reporting.     Vice  Chief  of  Administration,  Cole  Ettingoff,  reported  a  successful  weekend.   Registration  went  smoothly  and  efforts  at  electronic  check-­‐in  are  on  going.  Election   results  include  Adam  Carr  as  Lodge  Chief,  Cole  Ettingoff  as  Vice  Chief  of   Administration,  John  Johnson  as  Vice  Chief  of  Activities,  Hunter  Ferris  as  Vice  Chief   of  Inductions,  and  Will  Borah  as  Vice  Chief  of  Finance.         Vice  Chief  of  Activities,  Adam  Carr,  reported  his  Start  (creating  back  up  activities),   Stop,  and  Continue  (pumpkin  chunking).     Vice  Chief  of  American  Indian  Affairs,  Logan  McCulley,  reported  his  Start  (better   ceremonies  practice,  finding  new  great  and  might  chief),  Stop  (having  this  position),   and  Continue  (recruiting  new  ceremonialists);  he  thanked  everyone  who  had  been  a   part  of  ceremonies.     �   Vice  Chief  of  Finance,  Will  Borah,  reported  that  a  lower  than  expected  turn  out   had  threatened  the  budget.  The  Lodge  is  still  in  the  green  but  barely.  There  are  still   odds  and  ends  to  tie  up.     Vice  Chief  of  Unit  Elections,  Ben  McClain,  reported  that  election  paperwork  had   not  been  completed,  and  that  as  his  office  was  being  eliminated,  the  responsibility  is   being  shifted  to  the  Chapters.     Lippoe  Blaknik  Chapter  Chief,  Carl  Beilstein,  not  present;  no  report  given.     Macheu  Machque  Chapter  Chief,  Hunter  Ferris,  reported  a  good  weekend,  the   new  chapter  chief  had  not  been  determined  yet,  and  the  Chapter  will  continue  to   work  of  event  attendance.     Nashoba  Tohbi  Chapter  Chief,  not  present;  no  report  given.     Okla  Kammasa  Chapter  Chief,  Brandon  Sly,  not  present;  no  report  given.     Sakima  Machque  Chapter  Chief,  Chris  Nelson,  congratulated  Caleb  McCulley  upon   his  election  as  Chapter  Chief,  encouraged  Caleb  to  continue  to  build  the  chapter,  and   congratulated  everyone  on  a  successful  weekend.     Banquet/Honors  Chair,  Will  Richgels,  not  present,  but  reported  a  mix  up  with  the   venue,  but  catering  settled.  The  awards  committee  had  been  formed  and  would  be   meeting  soon.     Brotherhood  Chair,  Adam  Carr,  reported  two  successful  crossovers  that  weekend   including  one  field  director.     Ceremonies  Chair,  Logan  McCulley,  encouraged  next  years  leadership  to  keep  up   the  improvements  on  the  ceremonies  and  continue  bringing  in  new  blood.     Dance  and  Drum  Chair,  John  Johnson,  reported  two  upcoming  events  at  Akela   Cub.     Events  Chair,  Matt  Feuss,  not  present;  no  report  given.     First  Aid  &  Safety  Chair,  Fred  Doerner,  reported  a  safe  weekend.     Lodgemaster  Chair,  Cole  Ettingoff,  reported  that  efforts  at  gaining  remote  access   to  Lodgemaster  at  Camp  Currier  were  on  going.     Merchandise  Chair,  Will  Richgels,  not  present,  no  report  given.     �Mobile  Camp  Chair,  John  Johnson,  reported  a  successful  Totin’  Chip  session  for   Cub  Scouts.     Ordeal  Chair,  Hunter  Ferris,  reminded  LEC  members  to  email  him  suggestions  for   future  Ordeals.       Service  Chair,  Edward  DeWane,  reported  progress  on  the  upcoming  Service  Corps   for  Akela  Cub.     Vigil  Chair,  Andrew  Schrack,  reported  eight  Vigil  Honor  members  from  the   weekend.     New  Business:     Ordeal  Costs-­‐  Adam  Carr  motioned  that  Ordeal  Cost  be  raised  by  $10  and  the  price   of  Fall  Fellowship  be  waved  for  new  members.  Seconded  by  Caleb  McCulley.  Action:   Carried  by  voice  acclamation.   Chapter  Patches-­‐  Fred  Doerner  motioned  that  the  Okla  Kama  chapter  patch  be   approved  for  production.  Multiple  seconds.  Action:  Carried  by  voice  acclamation.   Strategic  Plan-­‐  The  strategic  plan  for  the  next  several  years  was  presented  to  the   LEC.  Motioned  to  adopt  made  by  Ben  McClain;
