leadership positions.
Even though there may be many
experienced officers leaving, there are more
aspiring Arrowmen to take their places. The

most memorable Scouting experiences.
NOAC 2012 will be held at Michigan State
University from July 30 through August 4,
2012 and is projected to be one of the
largest in the Order’s history with more than
8,000 Arrowmen in attendance.

NOAC will feature a number of unique
events, including national competitions for
ceremonies, drum, and dance; evening
shows; the OA history museum; and
awesome recreation competitions such as
soccer, basketball, and ultimate Frisbee..
Highlights such as the Founder’s Day

exciting events at NOAC.

Arrowmen can participate in service
projects, high adventure opportunities,
leadership training, American Indian

enjoying the various activities, Scouts will
have a great time meeting new brothers and
sharing their experiences with people from

fun activities and fellowship. This will be
the first Lodge event of the 2012 year, so
come help make it a success. Also, if you
are an Ordeal Member and you are eligible

and it will be help at Skymont. The theme
for the conclave will be “The end of the
world.” The theme goes perfectly with 2012.
The Lodge always has its own theme to go
along with Conclave, and the theme that we
chose this year is pirates! It is a theme that
has not been done before, and it will be very
fun! Conclave is one the most exciting and
fun trips of the year. There will be many
classes teaching Arrowmen about the
different activities and opportunities they
can have in the Order of the Arrow.
Conclave is also a place to compete with the
other Lodges in our section. More
information about Conclave should be out
soon. Information about our section, SR-6,
can be found at www.oasection6.org.
