<text>So, So I tattooed on A... What are you doing the summer in the mountains of Northern episode within the set. But in diverse landscape, lie an extra ordinary in an experience.

We are located in Hardy, Arkansas, which is about the and-a-half hours north west of Memphis can state and we're in the food hall on Oakmont, which gives us a lot of different... My geography and to port entering place like this and we... You got a beautiful life. You got a river dates on like in you, or the way you gonna grow in you feel various types of "Harty want find wells in your country, and it's just a place that bottom and get lost in God's world, and you go in more, it's a beautiful place, it's a chance to get out of town and out in the woods and then the oars in the mountains for a week, a week at a time and just have a great time and spend time with your friends and your truth and your control and concentrate on scale.

I came a Scout Reservation on property has two very distinct camping experiences.

The first one is called Camp page, which main characteristic of that camp is at the scouts eat in a dining hall.

And that gives me a little bit more opportunity to spend time working on merit badge classes. It's really designed for troops that do a lot of high adventure activities and the office in like a little bit of a break during the summer.

Their water is actually on the South Fork River, which is kind of interesting that many camps have water funds on its... Our other camp camp Cherokee is very exclusive, because the scouts, and that can practice the patrol method and cooking.

They took all the one-off practice launching dinner.

And if you're really looking for your true you build on their patrol experience and the portal scale in Camp Charity we've been on the traditions is 19-60 it, we believe that counts or camp believe in supporting our council can rest them also the great program, the available camp a good TA around the genitals, to get married, but you to get the adventure of coming up here to the mountains from the flatland, of the Delta where we're Fontaine program both for the uh, younger cops coming into the truth. And for the older custom II out on the climbing too they have a new track program in Los plating intern and these things are field will the Vos, and that man Ronald come up or... Well there's all different sorts of programs are available for staff of different ages.

We have a Trail Blazer, program, which design specifically the boys had just enter the scouting program and the skills that they learn fundamental skills that they will need to become a first class cat with the probable program is for brand new boys in vocal program. They're usually going into the six-gun they've done very little with their trips, and we work on tender second class and first class requirement, and it's giving them a taste of the skills that they're going to be perfecting and they get in Voices.

The boys seemed to be enjoying themselves. We haven't closed to board them so they have a lot of fun and I learn about their life at a T, and I let her take care.

We'll go to a... And I, over. Like they learn about cooking.

A lot of different skills, just a little bit about everything that they will eventually be perfecting than our second and third year program is called Our Adventure Quest, programs, so that includes recourse. A water skiing program or climbing school, which is a climbing program that we offer as well, as the golf Atacama is a great place to come to whether you're in the market for the first year, scouts who are just starting on their skills second or third year campers that are looking for a little bit more adventure for your older scout don't really wanting a high Advent your experience centrally located and accessible, not only to the south but throughout the Midwest as well. The adventure provided a track groups from over 1000 miles away while the programs and dedicated staff bring them back year after year.

So Marianne, here Kaesong life-saving caning growing small boat sailing to be a lifeguard to be, say mile swim the 50 mile or foot astronomy nature space elation Environmental Science, the other geology left town amphibian study mammal study it and "Willman agent weather for is try to on water conservation, faster leather works pottery wood carving camping cooking India law or entering pier wariness survival back back in emergency preparedness, the first day, archery rifle shooting not on shooting personal fitness athletic board of animal veterinarian in enforcement ship water scene, Motor boating and climbing.

So, can accomplish more than just any marriage. What they come here to do is to learn different scanning skills, but what they do is go home with a bill sense of accomplishment in themselves and working with their body living in the outdoors to week in all different types of invites. Sound a little bit more comfortable and some a little bit left comfortable to add to the town.

This is probably the perfect opportunity at Katia to advance on an accelerated pace of your new scale.

The chance "petipa off 10 de-foot second class, first class requirements all within the same week and accomplished quite a bit. They offer Marie vegans here for the older scouts that you probably don't have the opportunity to work on on an ongoing or regular Baines.

Of course, the camp sites are a traditional scout camp site with a two-man law camp, which in the U-

Sally a right thing. Because you can say if you're a comes having background and it's the same experience. So your grandfather Buena... The facilities here are top-notch, and just improved from year-to-year cacao new buildings, new activity areas, new high adventure programs.

The construction and improvement is just ongoing and seems to get better every year that we come that I've been telling her some shoes on 19, so I see improve Al. Yes, we have a great, great guiding Hall facility in Hana, commentary checker charge. But the staff is the well-trained very ready to have a very large number stance of comment to each other. Boys. The facilities aren't really appropriate to the program that we're trying to run in our co.So you, they are led by the kind of kids that they have leading to stay always disciplining peer for the program, and they all know are committed to a pass play program. All the stuff to come here.

So the program is good in the fluid because the staff is it peer? We're real proud of the fact that we're able to draw on best cuts that the chicken house, based out of Memphis, to offer as well, as our international staff members and staff members from all across the country and they have a tendency to really get into the program and care about it, offices work always in communication with on it, 'cause they really get involved in the scouts and build relationships where I'm gonna kind of need that. They can keep up with them for years to come.

We usually have three to four staff trainings in Memphis, prior to coming to Giacomo at the scouts that are going to be staff members. Get the camp, they check in a week early, and we spent a whole week not only cleaning out the camp or getting ready for summer, but spend Coles hours training to make sure that their teaching skills are really where they need to be, that they understand the aims and goals of the Boy Scout Program, and really spend a lot of time talking about customer service and knowing what's important about the scout and the scout master. Because we wanna come back year after year just education staff as to do traditions carry to overcome back apart, from the original old contestant on the early 1900 we watched staff, and to grow and become very strong. And get a... Come back to you after year.

Nothing that's... We all enjoy about the co-at a young man to start out, 15 years old on staff and still I went to LA 20, and the things that the college did a test per...

I think that the Chief Council here at "chikuma has really combined the tradition of the traditional Boys Scout camping experience, with the...

I enter the future, and I think that those two things together on what Maine to in addition to the Maria Ange opportunities that we have for first and second year campers we offer a high adventure program, which is really highlighted by a program that we call 'project Co-And cop stands for challenging outdoor personal experience and the press Project COPE is to build self-confidence teamwork, leadership, if you got communication skills, problem solving skill for individuals as well as groups. And what they do is they'll come to this course and spend the whole week there either in morning or afternoon session and they come together as individuals from all different types of troops, and the idea is that at the end of the week, they come together as one big grill the way that they do that is by presenting different mind games and challenges for them on the first couple of days that eventually get them on to cable systems that are about two feet off the ground. Different challenges like putting a tire over a giant "Helicon or passing teammates through a portal, which is a tire suspended in some trees.

And as the group progresses and the communication skill is built eventually they pin themselves to spend in our cables 40 feet in the air holding each other with climbing reps. And the idea is that by the end of the week, the boys felt challenged, and he's had some personal development, he also made a lot of friends and learn how to work with a variety of different people help us an experience that teaches our boys to work together as a team teaching them to communicate gives them a lot of self-topic playing games and working on the high course here also allows that risk that all of us feel to be met here.

It's an all-round experience that causes them to learn things that then we can transfer over that they can use and scouting in real life, but it's also a lot of fun on degrees, that really makes it work.

And I guarantee you that you'll have some personal growth take place, but still be the most fun that you've ever had growing.

We have a really interesting place on our property on our highest point mountain overlooks the south work River, and that's called an EAR amount of it. An experience much like the... This dad have when they go to film on top is A... The outpost also serves as base for the co-ed program is a "interba the adventure based on several different programs. Two of the highlighted ones is a program we call the out program, it's the or ultimate track and what Scouts adventures get to do on this program. I spend one day fly fishing and world class trout waters just west of our camp the next day, they spend rock climbing at some fantastic rock climbing, spots and Western AC and soft. Then they spend a day and a half, canoeing on the buffalo National River, which is actually prefaced by the National Park Service, and then they spend a whole day soloing and cases which are now most in this area. Another program that's very popular in our art venture base is the 50 ml to commute scouts go up the 11-point river in southern Missouri and spend 30 miles on the river and 20 miles on a back back and we have to out and adventurers go through this program every week then. So I think the thing that's most special to me about Pete, relationships that we built as a staff with each other and with the leaders and the youth that come here and we always remember their names, and that's real important because we're not so concerned with getting a man, and getting them out in the weeks time and making sure that they earn as many merits, they can.

We're really here to make sure that they have a quality experience in the boys in a car.

The special 'bout take moves, it's a beautiful ocean mountains. The climate awesome in so many programs hit offered to all ages of scouts from 11 of even leaders will come is just a place for Brotherhood and Pete here every year just to get away from on the time.

No, I began home. The real one place, just hang out in a... One, it's really fun, and I do the tensioning the thing that you'll find about kakashi the people that come here had been coming here for years, and once you come to Ocean your fun.

I think the real go to this camp is the fact that the staff really cares about the campers and they're very committed to making sure that their voice, have a good experience to get to spend time with your troop and your patrol and get away from home and be in the mountains and in the press are with rivers and lakes and all of the things that just make cognac a special place.

Oh, I can use this one. groupies. All math and your other but... So I tool for more information, contact or China Council at 171 South Hollywood Memphis, Tennessee, 38-11 to about one in 901-327-4193, all the internet and Chickasaw, be done.
